FilmTexture App — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how FilmTexture (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your information when you use the FilmTexture iOS application (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
1. Our Core Privacy Principle
FilmTexture is built around a fundamental principle: your photos and videos never leave your device. All image and video processing — including filter application, color grading, grain simulation, bloom effects, and all machine learning operations — is performed entirely on your device using your device’s GPU and Neural Engine. We have no technical ability to access, view, or retrieve your photos or videos.

3. Information We Do Not Collect
The FilmTexture App does not:
- Upload, transmit, or process your photos or videos on any external server
- Track your activity across other apps or websites
- Collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) or use the App Tracking Transparency framework for tracking
- Include any third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or advertising networks
- Access your contacts, calendar, health data, browsing history, or any data beyond what is described above
- Use your data for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or data brokering
- Send your data to AI services, cloud processing APIs, or machine learning endpoints
4. Device Permissions
The App may request the following permissions. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device Settings.

5. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases, and Payments
The App offers two subscription tiers (FilmTexture Pro and FilmTexture Studio). All payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. FilmTexture does not collect, process, or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details. Apple’s privacy practices govern the handling of your payment data. 6. Data Sharing
We share your data only with:
- Apple Inc. — For App Store distribution, in-app subscription processing, and Apple Sign In authentication. Governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- Database provider — For storing your account email and subscription status in an encrypted database with row-level security.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data to any third party for any purpose.
7. Data Security
- All network communications use TLS 1.3 encryption
- Account data is encrypted at rest with row-level security policies
- Authentication uses Apple Sign In (industry-standard OAuth 2.0)
- No payment data is stored on our systems
- Photos and videos remain on your device and are protected by your device’s built-in encryption
8. Data Retention

9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data and receive a copy
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for optional data collection (e.g., location) at any time via device Settings
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured format
Account Deletion
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:
- In the App: Settings > Sign Out, or contact us
- Via email: privacy@filmtexture.com
We will delete your account within 30 days of a valid request and confirm via email. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through the App Store.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us at privacy@filmtexture.com and we will promptly delete it.
11. International Users
FilmTexture is based in Istanbul, Turkey. If you use the App from the EU/EEA, your rights under the GDPR are fully respected. If you are a California resident, your rights under the CCPA are respected, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data). For all jurisdictions, contact privacy@filmtexture.com to exercise your rights.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email where feasible.
